From horse farm to hospitality
Stable Craft Brewing began at Hermitage Hill Farm and Stables, founded in 2006 on the former Waynesboro Stables. What started as a working horse farm grew into a place where visitors can enjoy the Valley, gather with friends, and stay awhile.
A barn built for gathering
The property’s 288-foot barn was transformed from a riding and training space into an event venue for weddings, receptions, private parties, conferences, and corporate gatherings. Hand-hewn timber, mountain views, and modern comforts keep the setting grounded in the farm.
From the farm to the glass
The farm’s own artisanal water source is the foundation for Stable Craft beer, Hermitage Hill Cider, and Stable Craft Soda. The destination expanded with a taproom and agri-pub restaurant, cider and soda in 2019, and overnight guest suites in 2020.
Craft, sustainability, and Virginia hospitality
Stable Craft Brewing has been recognised by Virginia Living, the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild, Virginia Green, the Virginia Tourism Corporation, the International Brewski Competition, and the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association. Today, horses, hop fields, craft beverages, food, events, and lodging come together in one farm experience.
